These Terms of Service outline the rules for using our platform, our commitment to protecting our content, and our policies regarding subscriptions and refunds.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use TrainDoc AI. Our platform is designed for adults. We do not knowingly permit minors to use our services.

2. Account Responsibility

  • Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • Conduct: You agree not to use the platform for any illegal activities or to attempt to bypass our security measures.

3. Intellectual Property

All content provided on TrainDoc AI—including videos, text, audio, desktop apps, code snippets and graphics—is the property of TrainDoc AI and is protected by international copyright laws.

Restrictions: You may not redistribute, resell, record, or “scrape” our content to train external AI models or for commercial gain without explicit written consent.

4. Desktop Apps

Our Desktop Apps are engineered with a privacy-first architecture, ensuring your data never leaves your local environment.

  • Offline Operation: All processing occurs locally on your hardware. TrainDoc AI maintains no remote access to your system, files, or data.
  • System Compatibility: Currently supported on Windows 10 and Windows 11.
  • Processing Constraints: The software supports one (1) digital PDF per session, with a maximum limit of 200 pages. Files exceeding this limit may experience extended processing times.
  • Installation & Removal: Our desktop apps are “portable” and do not require a standard system installation. To remove the software, simply delete the downloaded file from your local storage.
  • Liability Limitation: The software is provided “As Is” without warranties of any kind. TrainDoc AI is not liable for data loss, hardware malfunctions, or damages resulting from third-party software conflicts or external system factors.

5. Code Snippets

Upon purchase, code snippets are delivered via a compressed ZIP archive structured as follows:

  • README: Essential documentation including setup guides and usage instructions.
  • Deployment Folder (Subfolder A): Includes requirements.txt, main.py, and main.ipynb (pre-configured for Google Colab optimization).
  • Source Folder (Subfolder B): Contains the complete, uncompressed source code for full transparency and customization.

6. Data Conversion Services

Our Data Conversion Services provide a secure pipeline for transforming PDF documents into structured formats.

  • Secure Upload: After checkout, you will be redirected to a secure, encrypted portal. You may upload up to ten (10) PDF files (maximum 100MB per file).
  • Encryption: All data is encrypted during transit and at rest during the conversion process.
  • Delivery: Converted Markdown (.md) files will be delivered within 24 hours via a dedicated, password-protected webpage for secure retrieval.

7. Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase, but we have to protect our digital content.

7.1 General Refund Window
  • 14-Day Window: For all purchases—including Desktop Apps, Code Snippets, and Courses—you have 14 days from the date of purchase to request a full refund.
7.2 Product-Specific Terms
  • Desktop Apps & Code Snippets: You are eligible for a full refund within the 14-day window.
  • Online Courses (The 60% Rule): If you have completed 40% or more of the course material within those two weeks, you are no longer eligible for a refund.

Note: Progress is tracked automatically via our learning platform. If you have accessed the majority of the content, the service is considered fully delivered.

7.3 Subscriptions

All subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel your subscription at any time via your Account Dashboard. Upon cancellation, you will continue to have full access to the course materials until the end of your current paid month.

8. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of the service (or any content therein) without notice at any time. We will notify users of any significant changes to these Terms via the email address provided.
